Supply Cover Teacher
Nottingham
Earn up to £550 per week
About the Role:
Connex Education are currently working very closely with a great school located in Nottingham, who are seeking regular support from supply teachers. In this role you will be required to work across several departments providing relief cover where the teachers are unable to take the class. The work will always be provided for you by the qualified teacher, you will be responsible for behaviour and ensuring completion of the tasks left.

Assignment Details:
This particular role is to join the school as soon as possible and work for the full academic year, until July. You would be working full time (Mon to Fri) and there is the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff as this is an open vacancy.

Person Specification:
- Have some experience working with young people in either a school setting or a similar environment, i.e.- NCS / Sports coaching etc
- Be confident in your ability to lead a class of children aged 11-16 years.
- Be able to work well with challenging behaviour.
- Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.
- Punctual and organised
- Willing to undergo continual professional training.
- Be reliable and committed to working within an education environment
- Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour.
