Job Paediatric Speech Therapist

Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in Hertfordshire.

The pay for this position is £23-£28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Duties of role:
Assess and treat each child.
Depending on type of referral expected to have 4, 6 or 10 interventions.
Expected age range 2.5 - 11 years.
Initial assessment.
Set a plan for the child.
SLT books follows up as required.
Once child is ready to be discharged, the SLT should book an empty slot the following week to complete all discharge reports and paperwork.

Experience required
CYP competent SLTs/SLTAs (with suitable supervision) with current and recent CYP experience. Supervision of all activity to be overseen by Band 7 Therapist.
